Since its opening on March 29 in 2024 in Osaka (Japan’s L.A.)’s gayborhood ‘Doyamacho (堂山町)’, EAGLE OSAKA has been the hot spot for bears and tourists as not only Osaka’s but also the Western Japan (西日本)’s largest gay bar. EAGLE OSAKA stays as bear/tourist-friendly as its original location ‘EAGLE TOKYO‘.

EAGLE OSAKA’s dance floor.
EAGLE OSAKA is a two-story building. The first floor is a dance floor with a stage where buff Japanese gogo dancers perform while several disco balls rotate in the air.

The mural art by Jiraiya (児雷也) on the second floor.
The second floor is for drinking and socializing. With Japanese lanterns and large screens showing MVs of American gay anthems, the room generates a multicultural matsuri (祭 / festival) vibe. The iconic, floor-to-ceiling mural by Japanese gay artist ‘Jiraiya (児雷也)’ is the absolute focal point of the room where gentlemen can compete for a photo opportunity. There’s a tiny section for merchandise on the same floor. No darkroom is available (just yet).
