Nautika Restaurant is prestigious: Pope John Paul II dined there, the first female president of Croatia “Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović” dined there, and Owen Wilson? Daggum I need to go there.

Nautika Restaurant is the world’s 6th most romantic restaurant. That’s what I read on almost all the websites I checked. I don’t disagree. Nautika Restaurant is said to serve Mediterranean cuisine with a Dalmatian* twist. Word? The thing is that they don’t serve dogs and the head chef Mario Bunda is a kick ass. *Dalmatia is a region where Dubrovnik is.
Below are the eight items I had at Nautika Restaurant:

1/8: Spray the cocktail. Why not? One always needs to be sanitized with alcohol.

2/8: Bread had a blanket with a logo. Must be more expensive than my airline ticket.

3/8: I’ve never seen this many sesames landed in line on a grissini. Shen Yun-level spectacle here.

4/8: Their menu said, “Trio Seafood Delicacies lobster and sea urchin meat, marinated white fish, oyster sea foam.” I said, “bye-bye my gout.”

5/8: Fk truffle oil. You’re out.

6/8: Grilled sea bass with vanilla-flavored cherry tomatoes. Nothing was vanilla here. Can I get a gummy candy of this?

7/8: They said “Tuna filet.” I said “tuna dice.” Anyways, I appreciated a pulverized caper and rosemary coating on my dices. Bet.

8/8: This pannacotta’s earthy flavor reminded me of Japanese kinako (きなこ). Pannacotta who?
Everything tasted great at Nautika Restaurant. I could expect more carbs for my cup of $28.90 truffle pasta but I’d rather shut up and not let the truffle air go. I failed to savor the ocean blue from my terrace seat because I booked for dinner. I kind of forgot how Earth works. It was romantic just like that.

Nautika Restaurant in broad daylight.
